Professional development programs and courses
Khan Mentors uses the principles of our proprietary Structured Human Improvement Pathways (SHIP) approach to deliver uniquely powerful professional training courses. Khan Mentors' training focuses on methods that impart new knowledge, create and/or deepen domain expertise, expand transdisciplinary critical thinking (TCT), and have a lasting and deep behavioral impact on the way our course participants' professional self image as well as interpersonal interactions. Khan Mentors' delivery methods are based on a blended in-person and eLearning approach that uses state-of-the-art intra-individual and inter-individual transfer of learning techniques encompassing both near- and far- transference. Multiple modes of communication and media are utilized as are Harvard case studies, interactive labs, experiment based workshops, and individual and group activities.
Each one of Khan Mentors' engagements leads to the creation of massive social value. By charter, Khan Mentors is required to create social benefit through its core business activities. We use the principles of Leveraged Genetic Social Enterprise (LGSE) developed by Kokoro Insights, LLC (KI) to achieve this outcome. LGSE embeds social value creation leveraged through social value multipliers that are embedded in the business model (DNA) of any given for-profit enterprise such that as the profit-seeking entity naturally seeks to create private value, social value is automatically generated. For Khan Mentors, this normally involves creating strategic volunteering opportunities that allow the participants to practice the new skills and knowledge acquired from Khan Mentors courses in a sand-box environment to create value for resource-strapped nonprofits and social enterprises. In individual engagements, Khan Mentors takes this approach to the next level by supporting our clients to create their own LGSEs around a cause that they are passionate about. In particular, this approach has been demonstrated to be exceptionally powerful in achieving positive admissions outcomes for top colleges and graduate schools. Examples of LGSEs spawned by Khan Mentors include: Punnah and Aquae Vitae.
Khan Mentors also creates peer-recognition opportunities for the participants that help create a pivot point for reinventing and rebranding themselves in their professional environments, thereby synthetically breaking any negative momentum and synthetically creating an opportunity for positive behavioral change. By the same token, Khan Mentors also creates institutional level recognition opportunities that assist our institutional clients to achieve their corporate social responsibility goals. Khan Mentors achieves this through narratives around the efforts of the individual participants who perform strategic volunteering as part of the Khan Mentors training.
